Dr. Alex Meneshian was born and raised in Montreal. His professional education started at McGill University where he was awarded his D.D.S. degree with high honors graduating at the top of his class.

He went on to do fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania focusing mainly on facial reconstructive surgery, cosmetic facial surgery and surgical treatment of sleep apnea patients. He then went on to obtain his M.D. degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Meneshian then completed his combined residency in General Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is an attending doctor at many of the areas prestigious hospitals, including Winthrop University Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, St.-Francis Hospital, University Hospital and Medical Center at Stony Brook, and Nassau University Medical Center.

Dr. Alex Meneshian practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including cosmetic facial surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, orthognathic and reconstructive facial and jaw surgery, sleep apnea surgery, facial trauma and TMJ surgery.

Dr. Alex Meneshian’s special areas of interest are minimally invasive cosmetic facial surgery, cleft lip/palate surgery and sleep apnea/snoring surgery.
