Dr. Soletic

Dr. Luke Soletic was raised in Douglaston, Queens. He attended local schools and went
to college at Webb Institute, where he studied engineering. After working as an engineer for
two years, he decided to pursue his competing interest and calling as a health care provider,
where he’d continue to apply his problem solving skills. He admired the blend of form and
function in dentistry and was drawn to the complexity of cases in oral and maxillofacial surgery
specifically.

Dr. Soletic graduated from dental school at the prestigious Columbia University College
of Dental Medicine. From there, he completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency
training at Bellevue/NYU-Langone Hospital Center. During this six year training program, he
earned an MD degree and a one year certificate in general surgery, and served as chief resident
in his final year of training. He was exposed to a wide surgical scope, including dental
implantology, bone grafting, dento-alveolar and wisdom tooth surgery, pediatric oral surgery,
orthognathic (jaw) surgery, benign and malignant pathology including oral cavity cancer,
maxillofacial trauma, and facial aesthetic procedures including Botox ® and facial fillers.
Additionally, he trained extensively in the delivery of ambulatory anesthesia to both adults and
children. While a trainee, he presented research at multiple industry conferences, published
several scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals, and attended numerous symposia and
courses to further his knowledge and skillset. He was additionally chosen by the Osteo Science
Foundation for an elective rotation alongside one of the world’s experts in dental implantology
and complex bone grafting.
