Leonard Hoffman, DDS 
Dr. Leonard Hoffman has been a lifelong resident of New York and with Dr. Cangiano is one of the original members of this practice. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College in 1964 and his professional degree from New York University in 1968. Upon graduation he was elected to OKU, the dental honor society. He completed his residency in 1971 at Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center, and received his didactic training at Columbia University. He is currently an assistant professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hoffman maintains a teaching position at the Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center residency program.

Dr. Leonard Hoffman practices a complete scope of oral maxillofacial surgery including dental alveolar, orthognathic, sleep apnea, TMJ, trauma, implants and bone reconstructive surgery. His areas are primary interest include bone and implant reconstructive surgery, orthognathic and temporomandibular joint surgery. He maintains staff positions at Winthrop University Hospital, where he is the chief of the division of oral and maxillofacial surgery, St. Francis hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and Nassau University Medical Center.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Nassau County Dental Society, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the New York State Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, where he served as a board member and past president. He has also served as a delegate from state of New York at the national meeting of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons for several years.
